Yumi's Cells 2 picks up after Yu Mi's painful breakup, which left her love cells completely dormant. A chance meeting with game designer Goo Woong initially brought a brief revival, as their cells awakened each other. However, despite growing closer, their relationship was not destined to endure. Now, a much wiser and more mature Yu Mi navigates new challenges. An unexpected source ignites her internal fire, inspiring her to take on life with renewed vigor. With newfound determination, and inspired by her coworker Bobby Yoo, Yu Mi and her dedicated cells embark on a journey to make all her dreams come true. This season explores her personal growth and the pursuit of aspirations, adapted from the popular webtoon.
