Princess Yi, known for her gentle and kind nature, captures the heart of King Jing, who favors her above all others in his palace. Her compassionate treatment of everyone, from the King to the mansion maids, solidifies their bond. King Jing's admiration deepens as Yi courageously faces life's adversities and wisely devises solutions during his most challenging times, securing his eventual triumph. Her virtues are further recognized by Queen Dowager Wangjin, who decrees her a full concubine. This newfound status ignites fierce jealousy among the other princesses, leading to relentless persecution. After enduring prolonged attacks, Yi retaliates, ridding the kingdom of these harmful women. However, their increasing involvement in court affairs stirs discontent. The ambitious Cheng Wang, convinced of King Jing's inferiority, plots a coup: to murder the King, usurp the throne, and forcefully claim Yi as his Queen.
