Description

A compelling family drama unfolds when a modern adaptation of a traditional Korean folktale brings two estranged brothers back together. Man Bo, a ruthless real estate billionaire driven by women and wealth, hasn't seen his kind, submissive younger brother Choon Bo in twenty years, ever since Choon Bo gave his youngest son to Man Bo.

Now, bankrupt and desperate, Choon Bo and his family—including his wife, who believes their youngest son died at birth, his three children, and daughter-in-law—are forced to move into a small house next to Man Bo's luxurious home. This reunion ignites a fierce clash between the two families. Man Bo's manipulative wife and daughter, Mi Ree, are determined to make Choon Bo's daughter, Soo Jin, miserable, leading to heated rivalries, especially as they vie for the same man.

As deep-seated family secrets, financial struggles, and romantic entanglements intertwine, the families navigate a tumultuous journey. Ultimately, this poignant tale explores themes of redemption and justice, where the good-hearted prevail, teaching the greedy and malicious a timeless lesson, just like the original Korean legend.
