The historical romance drama 100 Days My Prince follows Lee Yul, the cold and lonely Crown Prince of Joseon. One day, he passes a law stating that all citizens of marriageable age must marry before they reach twenty-eight. However, an assassination attempt leaves Lee Yul severely injured and suffering from temporary amnesia. Found and cared for by Hong Shim and her father, he wanders aimlessly as a nameless commoner. Hong Shim is a strong, intelligent woman and the oldest unmarried woman in her village. To avoid punishment from law officials and save her village from drought, she desperately needs a husband. Ironically, because of the very law passed by Lee Yul, the amnesiac Crown Prince and Hong Shim are forced to marry each other. What follows is a heartwarming love story between Joseons oldest unmarried woman and her accidental royal husband.
