Analog Squad transports audiences to 1999, a unique time when personal lives largely existed offline, offering a perfect backdrop for a heartfelt deception. Faced with his father's declining health, Pong is driven by a profound desire to make his dying father proud. To fulfill his father’s wish of seeing him settled with a family, Pong embarks on creating a truly makeshift one. He enlists his ex-girlfriend, Lily, to play the crucial role of his loving wife and the mother to their two fabricated children. These "children" are portrayed by Kek, an employee from a pager company, and Bung, the owner of a local video rental shop. This unlikely quartet navigates the intricate emotional landscape and humorous predicaments of pretending to be a cohesive family, all in a desperate attempt to bring peace and pride to a dying man in an era before digital trails exposed every secret.
