Boyfriend on Demand centers on Seo Mi Rae, an exhausted webtoon producer whose demanding schedule has left her with a nonexistent dating life. Yearning for a second chance at love, Mi Rae stumbles upon a unique "Monthly Boyfriend device," which grants her access to a subscription-based virtual dating simulation. Within this digital world, she meets the boyfriends of her dreams – unrealistically perfect figures who reawaken her long-dormant romantic desires, offering a much-needed escape from reality.
However, Mi Rae’s real life remains entangled with Park Gyeong Nam, her colleague and professional rival. Despite his undeniable competence, Gyeong Nam consistently makes Mi Rae uneasy; he is the last person she wants to see at work. Yet, beneath his seemingly cold and indifferent demeanor lie surprising secrets, destined to stir Mi Rae's emotions and challenge her perceptions as her virtual and real worlds intertwine.
