Brother explores the powerful bond of friendship amidst the challenging world of professional motorcycle racing. The story begins in 2013, when Lin Hao, a Han youth, and Halik, a Uyghur youth, both from Xinjiang, meet by chance in the remote, uninhabited Dahaidao Xinjiang region. Despite their distinct personalities, an undeniable persistence unites them, quickly evolving their relationship from rivals to true brothers through constant competition. Their shared, ambitious dream is to become professional motorcycle racers. The film chronicles their intense journey as they enter rally after rally, relentlessly striving to accumulate vital experience and hone their skills. This path is fraught with immense difficulties. They confront the profound psychological trauma of losing friends and endure the devastating physical pain inherent in such a demanding sport.
