Eien no Kinou presents a compelling and heartfelt narrative centered on two high school students, Koichi and Mitsuru. Koichi, a cheerful and widely popular figure in class, forms an unexpected yet profound connection with Mitsuru, a talented but socially reserved individual. Their dramatically opposing personalities mysteriously draw them closer, forging a unique and strong bond. However, their budding relationship takes a shocking turn when Koichi is tragically hit by a truck right in front of Mitsuru one morning. Astoundingly, Koichi stands up, seemingly unscathed and wearing his usual smile, indicating he is still very much alive. Yet, a disturbing phenomenon soon emerges: Koichi's classmates progressively begin to lose all memory of his existence, slowly forgetting him despite his physical presence. This gripping film explores the emotional struggle to cling to a loved one's reality as they inexplicably vanish from the minds of others. Adapted from Eda Yuuri's acclaimed novel, "Eien no Kino."
