Kanfuru News, an online media powerhouse, operates on a simple principle: maximize page views through rearranged stories and comments, crafted by an exclusively male editorial team. Their superficial approach to news shapes the modern work-life and connections of everyone involved. This ecosystem, driven by clicks rather than substance, faces an unexpected shake-up when Seko Ririko transfers from the accounting department to join the editorial ranks.
As Seko navigates this male-dominated world focused on gossip and internet trends, her unique perspective slowly begins to challenge the established norms. The film delves into the evolving connection between people in a new era, exploring both the professional and romantic relationships that blossom amidst the pursuit of online notoriety. Seko’s journey pushes the team to question the true meaning behind the fabricated headlines, forcing them to confront deeper realities about human interaction and the elusive truth in a digital age, as they uncover what real stories lie beneath the surface.
