Hanayome to Papa is a heartwarming comedy drama that beautifully explores the outrageous yet unbreakable bond between a protective father and his daughter. Raised by her single father Kentaro Saburo Tokito after her mother passed away when she was just a baby, twenty-year-old Aiko Uzaki, played by Satomi Ishihara, has lived her entire life under strict, 24/7 rules. Now working at a fashionable clothing company, Aiko naturally craves freedom and independence, but her overbearing father is not ready to let go. The situation becomes more complicated when Aiko falls in love with a nice young man named Seiji Miura, played by Junnosuke Taguchi. Kentaro must reluctantly accept that his daughter is growing up, but the family must still overcome several difficulties together. Filled with laughter and tears, this charming story follows their journey to discover the true meaning of happiness.
