Despite this apparent perfection, Chun Mei secretly battles intense personal suffering, grappling with life's pressures and the difficult reality of accepting her own aging. Her world is dramatically upended when her husband, Wei Qiang, mysteriously disappears. As Chun Mei pieces together disturbing clues, her suspicions grow into fears of betrayal. Wei Qiang eventually returns, seemingly having reached a personal decision, only to deliver the devastating news: he wants a divorce. This forces Chun Mei to confront her crumbling life and embark on a journey of rediscovery.
