The story centers on a yoga instructor, feeling increasingly burdened by the care of her father, a Japanese language scholar who has lost his passion for life since his wife's passing. This strained living situation leaves her with little interest in marriage herself. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when her father discovers a divorce document among his late wife's belongings. This revelation reignites his desire for life, making him determined to remarry and, concurrently, encouraging his daughter to seek a partner. As both father and daughter embark on their distinct journeys to find love, she crosses paths with a single father dedicated to raising his 7-year-old son. The film ultimately explores the profound question posed by its title: Is love sustainable in the face of past sorrow and new beginnings?
