Lady Behind The Mask centers on Kung, a graceful and beautiful woman from the slums with a deeply mysterious background regarding her birth. Employment obligations lead her to the remote Kheha Nang Khoi, a location perched dramatically on a cliff. There, Kung takes on the role of a caretaker for a woman believed to be mentally challenged, who consistently conceals her face behind a mask.
As Kung diligently performs her duties, she begins to notice subtle inconsistencies in her charge's behavior. This leads to a shocking discovery: the masked lady is not insane at all. This revelation unravels a deeper mystery, suggesting that the woman's supposed mental state and constant disguise are part of a larger, deliberate deception. Kung's subsequent investigation uncovers a crucial link between this enigmatic figure and the fabled, precious lost jewelry known as The Pink Diamond, hinting at hidden truths and a valuable treasure.
