Last Summer explores the complex bonds formed during annual summer visits. Twin brothers, separated by their parents' divorce, find their paths diverging: one lives in the United States, the other in South Korea. Each year, the younger brother travels to Korea for 21 days, sharing a duplex with his father and twin. These cherished summers are spent with his brother and their next-door neighbor. Though they grew up bickering, the neighbor secretly developed deep feelings for the summer visitor, unable to express them. Years later, as adults, he is a talented architect and she an architectural public official. However, their lives, along with the other twin's, were irrevocably altered by a significant incident two years ago, leading to profound and lasting consequences for all three.
