"Let Me Take Your Pulse" introduces an idealistic doctoral student of Traditional Chinese Medicine as he embarks on his professional journey. He starts from the ground up at a government TCM clinic, treating patients alongside other young doctors and confronting the realities of the system. His visionary approach immediately clashes with the practicalities and established norms of the clinic. Adding to the professional challenges, the clinic director is revealed to be his former girlfriend, a steadfast realist who vehemently disagrees with his innovative ideas. As he champions his ideals and she upholds her realistic perspective, their conflicting philosophies create a dynamic tension. However, through shared experiences in treating patients and navigating the complexities of the healthcare system, they are forced to grow, collaborate, and ultimately work together to challenge and change the prevailing status quo within the clinic.
