My Wife's Double Life introduces a legendary thief who marries into a prominent family, unknowingly beginning a thrilling battle of wits with a stonefaced inspector. Thirteen years after being rescued, Liu Rong, the notorious willow thief, assumes a false identity to repay a debt. Posing as Su Jin Zhen, she marries inspector Xu Mu Chen, tasked with infiltrating his manor to find a hidden jade pendant.
Their marriage is a sham; Liu Rong is a gentle, considerate wife by day and a cunning bandit by night. Unaware that the elusive thief he relentlessly pursues is his own spouse, Xu Mu Chen finds his home life complicated by the very woman he’s trying to capture. As the cat-and-mouse game intensifies between these natural enemies, their daily interactions slowly transform their initial animosity into an unexpected and sweet romance, blurring the lines between duty and desire.
